Let’s talk about my client Sophie. She has a passion for creating unique and personalized home decor pieces. Sophie started her business with great enthusiasm, but soon realized that her sales were not as high as she had expected.
She had trouble attracting the right customers and wasn't making the connections she needed to grow her business.
Frustrated and unsure of what to do, Sophie reached out to me as a business mentor for advice. I suggested that she take a closer look at her pricing strategy.
Sophie was charging very low prices, which was attracting a lot of bargain shoppers, but not the high-end customers she was targeting.

And guess what? The right pricing can help you achieve all of these things.
Let me explain why.

I’m not necessarily talking about making your pricing lower or higher here, just knowing who your right clients and connections are, and being right in the right place to be aligned with both.
This can help you build a strong brand identity and establish a loyal customer base.
That’s right, your pricing even becomes a part of your brand.
Pricing also plays a big role in building relationships.
For example, having special offers to your key customers can help foster loyalty and strengthen your relationship with them.
If you’ve ever been on the receiving end of a loyalty program, you know how this feels on the clients’ side.
Similarly, having special offers to potential business partners can make them more likely to partner with you, as it shows that you value their contributions and are committed to working together for mutual success…
and it’s another piece of them valuing the connection you have.
Remember when we talk about reciprocation and that human nature of giving and serving someone, and them wanting to do it back for you?
This is a great example of that too.
In conclusion, pricing is much more than just setting a price for your product or service.
It is a strategic tool that can help you reach the right customers, attract the right investors, and form partnerships with the right companies.
