The Wedding Pro Show

Episode 100:

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

We’re celebrating our 100th episode in today’s episode!

And… it’s just happening (nothing is a coincidence though, right) to fall on TWOS-DAY, 2/22/2022.

Our very first episode aired on 3/3, last year, and we’re celebrating our 100th on 2/22? I mean, come on!

One of my favorite topics is gratitude, and I’m so grateful for this platform and this community, that for our 100th show it just couldn’t have been any other topic.

I mean, I close every episode with a hot tip and a thank you, so it has to be our topic today!

My Grandma Fullerton was one of my very best besties, and she always sent handwritten thank you notes, thinking of you notes, just all kinds of handwritten notes.

My mom does too, and I’m doing my very best to keep up the legacy.

I LOVE sending handwritten notes. Even more than I love receiving them, but loving receiving them is part of what I love about sending them, knowing how it makes the recipient feel.

Thought of. Loved. Included. It’s just so so so impactful.

We can do the same thing for our clients.

Sending our clients a hand written note is like a mini celebration in their honor.

I love calling communication with my clients and othes who I collaborate with “love notes”.

Say you get a great review… love note from a client.

Say you write a blog post, a piece of social media content, or even an email, love note to a client… and even your audience.

We can also do this with other vendors that we work with or want to work with.

It’s amazing to me how something so inexpensive and quick to do can really make such a major difference to someone, and in turn maybe even for you and your business when you make a sweet connection like this.

It can even be something personal.

We moved to this amazing super cool and hip loft building almost 2 years ago.

For February, I thought it would be fun to cut out hearts (yes, kindergarten style, and my husband sweetly reminded me of this fact) and write something I love about someone, and tape it to their door.

Then I left a blank cutout heart and a note with instructions for them to do the same.

In just a few days, our building was covered in handwritten notes on hearts!

Everyone was talking about it and jumping into it. It was so so so fun!

So you know what your hot tip for today’s going to be, right?

Right. It’s an action item.

Look for ways you can include just a simple handwritten note into your day to day life.

Now let’s take it a baby step further.

Write a thank you note right now. Today. Send it. To the first person who comes to mind. You’ll make their day, just like you make mine all the time!

Speaking of love notes, to celebrate our 100th episode, I want to do a giveaway.
