The Wedding Pro Show
Episode 55: You Might Even Be Entertaining an Angel
My husband and I own an investment company, we mostly have residential rental property, but we also have other investments, and every once in a while do a "flip" home.
That's what we have going on right now.
I went there to see what was going on today, it's wrapping up, and getting carpet in a couple of days.
We like to write a scripture on the subfloor for the future floor re-doer to find, and just basically bless anyone who comes across the home, even the carpet installers.
Today was the day for it.
This particular scripture was inspired by someone sweet that I follow on Instagram, Daryl-Ann Denner.
She and her husband do the same thing and this was one of the ones they did recently.
Do NOT forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing so some have entertained ANGELS without even knowing it! Hebrews 13:2
As I was writing it, it occurred to me how relevant this is to us as wedding and event professionals too.
I have 3 takeaways from it, and I discuss them further in this episode...
1. Have multiple revenue streams
2. Be hospitable by serving first, and serving for the future.
3. Be hospitable in your packages and pricing.
And as always we have a hot tip for you, this one happens to be a challenge.
Find a small way to show hospitality in your business, you might even be entertaining an angel.
Head over to my Instagram account (michellebraswellxo) to see the photo of the verse written in sharpie on the subfloor.
Thank you as always for being here!
